Pre-Owned Vehicles vs. Certified Pre-Owned Vehicles
You’ve probably heard the term “used car” or “pre-owned car”. Still, you may not have heard of a certified pre-owned vehicle. You may not exactly know the difference between just a normal pre-owned and a certified pre-owned vehicle if you have. We’ve put together a list of key differences between pre-owned and certified pre-owned vehicles here at McLarty Daniel Automotive group serving Centerton, Bella Vista, Bentonville, Eureka Springs, Fayetteville, Pea Ridge, Springdale or Rogers, Arkansas.
In most cases, certified pre-owned vehicles come backed by the manufacturer giving buyers peace of mind. However, both pre-owned and certified pre-owned vehicles go through a rigorous inspection at all McLarty Daniel dealerships in Bentonville and Springdale.
Oftentimes, certified pre-owned vehicles go through a more comprehensive inspection and reconditioning. This means repairs are made to the paint or body and any interior or mechanical components, rather than selling it as is.
Certified pre-owned vehicles also may come with warranties or extended warranties. For example, if a vehicle came with a factory warranty of three years or 36,000 miles when it was new, many certified pre-owned vehicle dealerships will then extend that warranty from the day that the certified pre-owned vehicle is purchased again.
Certified pre-owned vehicles do have several advantages over pre-owned vehicles; however, if you’re looking for a cost-effective option, a pre-owned car may be right for you.
If you still don’t know what type of pre-owned vehicle is right for you, we invite you to swing by any of our dealerships in Northwest Arkansas so that one of our sales professionals can help you pick which is right.
